Duties: |
Confer with management, production, and marketing staff to direct a team of scientists in developing CGH (Comparative Genomic Hybridization) products and bioinformatics tools for CGH production; gathering functional requirements for the software; and designing and implementing various statistical algorithms with C/C++, JAVA, MatLab, etc. Coordinate and direct projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities. Develop and implement policies, standards and procedures for the engineering & technical work performed in the department, service, or laboratory for CGH production & design & validation CGH products. Direct, review, & approve product design & changes. Direct the manager of CGH research & production manager of manufacturing on more difficult and problematic areas of projects. Collaborate with research, industrial, and/or clinical based facilities in contributing to CGH manufacturing methods, including authorship & patent submissions of published findings and/or poster presentations. Recruit employees, assign, direct, & evaluate their work, & oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence.

Requirements: |
Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering or related or equivalent + 1 year experience.

Work Schedule: |
8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., 40 hours per week.
